South Africa - Rugby World Champions 2007. The Bokke played fantastically throughout the tournament and deserved this win - even if it wasn't the most exciting game in the history of the world (personally I think we would have had a more exciting match if it had been a rematch of the '95 WC Final. Even an Aussie/SA match up had more potential! And those Fijians certainly gave us a run for our money in the quarters! Worthy opponents all)
Thanks Vonnie for the call and the cheers from your fellow party goers! So wish I could have been there... it was no fun watching over here. A pretty lonely feeling, actually! So it was great to hear from you guys! Hope you had a LEKKER jol, ne! Am sure the partying went on 'til well into the early hours of the morning!
I'll say it again, cos it bears saying twice: South Africa are the Rugby Champions of the World! For the second time in 12 years! I can't stop smiling! Dankie manne... ons is so trots op julle!
